Wow Stories

Our Wow story today comes from The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta Buckhead Residences.

Ben Kazemi and the team partnered with Make-A-Wish to plan a personal and memorable experience for Gracie, a very brave 10-year old girl fighting a brain tumor. Gracie’s wish was to go on a Disney Cruise, and the Residences team offered to host a very special send-off party in their Club Lounge before her cruise. To prepare, the team gathered information on her preferences, hobbies, and interests. Executive Chef Philippe, Chef Tomo, and Private Chef Kelvin Moore prepared dinner and Gracie. The team also knew that she was a country-western music fan, so they arranged for her to be greeted at the door on the way to dinner by her favorite country-western DJ, Jason Pullman, who is a Residence owner. Fifteen other residents also provided gifts of her favorite clothes, books, games, CDs, and toys. Gracie was so excited by the surprise, she proclaimed she “couldn’t fit in her skin!”

"I wanted to let the Ladies & Gentlemen know what a great job they are doing. The Ritz service was one of the primary reasons Alan & I decided to move to the Ritz Residences, and it continues to live up to its reputation. We notice how well the public areas, the kitchen, and the hallways are kept cleaned and maintained and how hard Sem, Andrea & Shahram work behind the scenes. When we see any of them, they never hesitate to give us a cheery, sincere hello. I see Edward, Hiram, Ben, Phillip and Ashley constantly dealing with difficult people and situations with such professionalism which is noticeable, impressive and they are all to be commended. We are fortunate to have such a fine group to interact with us and our guests.
